If the Chrome Application displays: "Sending failed: an error occurred" when you try to send an amount it can mean:
that you do not use the right application on your Ledger Nano S or Ledger Blue, or didn't install it from the Ledger Manager.
Refer to this guide https://ledger.groovehq.com/knowledge_base/topics/ledger-manager
For example, it can happen if you use the BTC companion application on your Ledger device while you were on the Bitcoin Cash application.
that something went wrong when synchronising your information.
If so reset the Bitcoin Chrome App : settings > tools > reset application data and try again
- that servers or the blockchain network are temporarily down or overloaded
If so, try again later.
that amount + fees > your total balance
If so make sure that the amount you want to send added to the set fees is equal or inferior to your total balance.
that you didn't confirm the transaction.
When you send a Bitcoin transaction from your Chrome wallet, your Nano S displays the message "Confirm transaction" with a cross on the left and a check icon (✓) on the right.
This verification step is the way to manually sign and authenticate your transaction. Here, you don't have to press both buttons, but only the right button above the check icon (or the left button if you want to cancel). If you press both buttons, the sending fails as it is considered as unconfirmed.
